We had four of our dogs get bit by a rattle snake, one of them in the eye, my Vet sent us to the Sarasota location, because she kept the 3 others and Maggie needed special attention because she got bit in the eye. We took my 8 year old cat to the BluePearl in Tampa on 8/25/16 because she was struggling to breath, not moving, and drooling. They wanted us to pay over $1800 for some blood tests, an x-ray, and oxygen. I told the vet (Dr. Katherine Brammer) that it's a lot of money for tests that she said won't give us a diagnosis. Blue Pearl killed my cat. She desperately needed a medication for anemia and possibly a transfusion. The desperately low hematocrit (half of what it should have been) showed up on blood work that was sent to Alan Schreiner (I will no longer call this man Dr, because he doesn't deserve the title) on Thursday of last week. Please stay away from this company. Dr. Jodie Hayes with the Lees Summit, MO location was so cold, and inpatient. She was all about money, and when we informed her that we couldn't have a nearly $3,000 emergency procedure performed, she had no use for us. I believe this establishment is a greedy, money making machine, which doesn't give a *** about the welfare of animals. In good faith, I took my cat to Blue Pearl. Instead of helping him, they charged me for services not rendered and killed my cat. Do not take your babies here!

Unfortunately, my cat chewed on a lily from a bouquet I received over Easter weekend. My boyfriend and I decided to bring the cat to BluePearl because she needed to be seen right away, as lilies are toxic to cats and cause renal failure. I brought my wife's Toy Fox Terrier in Friday the 17th of June 2016, because he had not eaten in 31 hours or drank any water for 4 hours. They had a tech to a basic exam which is $95.00, then in a room the doctor comes in and thinks he has Panceritis (may be spelled wrong). I just happened to stumble upon this site when I was looking for something else. I would have posted a long time ago if I had seen it before since my cat has been gone since the beginning of the year. We had the misfortune of bringing our beloved dog, Jake, into the BluePearl location in Scottsdale, AZ. I say "misfortune," because our dog suffered while the staff threw darts at a board (supposedly) trying to figure out what was wrong with our dog. This is my second time here in two weeks. My complaint is not about the care but one receptionist who is very proud of her ***. Please cover up uncomfortable to have to stare at while doing paperwork. Not very professional look.
