My baby Garcia was nine years old and his vet Dr. Readdy Animal Health in Spring Hill, Fl. Was stumped by his test results and referred us to Blue Pearl in Tampa. I brought his test results from the veterinarian and was assigned Dr. Cochran. She retested and did x-rays etc. and was also stumped. After maybe two visits she put our little boy on Science Diet K/D for stage three kidney disease. They took his blood pressure which she said was high... Read more

Blue pearl was recommended by my vet for my 7 yr old Yorker who was dragging her right foot/ leg. When I called them to say I was going to bring her through their emergency room, I was told not to come. They put me on hold and then was told by an assistant in the neurology dept not to come. They were at capacity in their neurological dept for dogs. To get in my car and drive to University of Columbia or Kansas State to have my dog seen. When... Read more

I took my 9 year old Morkie to our regular vet for a routine check up only to find an abnormality in his stomach. They took an x-ray which showed a mass and then told me it might be a splenic tumor but without an ultrasound couldn't say for sure. They referred me to Blue Pearl to do the ultrasound and followed that with "should this be a splenic tumor, we can save you money and remove the spleen BUT, if you can afford to, keep him there". I... Read more

WARNING: This establishment is a monopoly owned by MARS (think M&M's, Dove Chocolate). They also own a lot of popular brands like Royal Canine, Whiskas, Banfield, etc... They come into town, close down small businesses, and then force Care Credit on unsuspecting animal owners. If the owners don't comply, they euthanize animals that could have been saved. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Go to: Blue Pearl Class Action Lawsuit... Read more

Bluepearl Veterinary Partners only exists to take your money. We took our 2 year old Shih Tzu to Bluepearl because she suddenly had a loss of energy and became lethargic. It was clear from the start of our visit that they were only interested in taking our money and not helping our pet. They misdiagnosed our dog and wanted to charge us over $600 for they services they provided. Our dog was not doing better the next day so we took her to our... Read more

Run out the door. You have got to see my astronomical bill from the 55th street hospital. I did not have the cash so, they give me this credit card with a $5,000 credit. I have to say I feel like I am the victim of PREDITOR LENDING bcuz after 6 mos. It jumps to 26% APR. At first I was quoted $2,000, then I was approved for this credit card for 5,000 and at that point I knew, they were going to charge me around $5,000. Sure nuff.. They... Read more

We took my 8 year old cat to the BluePearl in Tampa on 8/25/16 because she was struggling to breath, not moving, and drooling. They wanted us to pay over $1800 for some blood tests, an x-ray, and oxygen. I told the vet (Dr. Katherine Brammer) that it's a lot of money for tests that she said won't give us a diagnosis. Being a military family, we just do not make that kind of money. After the x-ray the vet came in and said it doesn't look good,... Read more

Blue Pearl killed my cat. She desperately needed a medication for anemia and possibly a transfusion. The desperately low hematocrit (half of what it should have been) showed up on blood work that was sent to Alan Schreiner (I will no longer call this man Dr, because he doesn't deserve the title) on Thursday of last week. I was meant to have been called with results on Thursday. No phone call ever arrived. I had to call twice on Friday to... Read more
