Details
Placed a pet at Blue Peal Sandy Springs. Assigned vet was Dr. Trainor. Not questioning his clinical competency, but bedside demeanor was deplorable. The decision was made to euthanize. I simply asked to hold the pup. He refused in one of the most dismissive and demeaning tones I've ever experienced. I was crying uncontrollably. Not one staff member acknowleged the emotiomal trauma surrounding this situation. I asked could I leave a blanket and without eye contact Dr. Trainor mumbled yes. My advice bring your own emergency survival kit which should include a grief counselor because you will not get it here.

So I am curious are you able just to call a neurosurgeon and make appointment for brain surgery or do you have to go through many avenues for that it sounds like your regular veterinarian didn’t do the proper referral protocol and that is why you couldn’t be seen quicker so good job regular veterinarian
