Never take a pet to Blue Pearl 24hr Vet clinic. They faked my dogs labs so they could ask to run more test and make more money. Then they refused to prescribe her antibiotics. However, I knew that's what she needed. They wanted me to get more test and I refused. I took her to my vet and received antibiotics the next day, but that was too late. The infection was taking over and the antibiotics weren't working. Being a nurse, I knew she still needed help. I started an IV on her to help maintain the vascular resistance. I called my vet, who had left for vacation and received some advice, ultimately making a decision to take Saph in. Iowa Veterinary Specialties(IVS) did an amazing job with Saph, triaging her and treating her immediately, without pushing for tests that weren't necessary. The cost was the same for five different tests at IVS as it was for the fake blood work at Blue Pearl! At IVS her temp was 104. 9 even after antibiotic therapy at my vet (Startch Pet Hospital). Her actual bloodwork showed elevated WBC of 20,000 as well as other significant markers of infection. Always be the advocate for your pet. They almost cost Sapphire her life by their negligence. She might possibly have mental issues now because they allowed her to leave their clinic and not treat a temp of 105. She is admitted at IVS and staying over night to receive IV antibiotics, fluids, pain meds. Prayers are welcome.

I'm so sorry for you...we took our Doberman in for medication toxicity on the 26th of Aug. 2019 and they lied to our face telling us they we're going to give iv fluids to flush his kidneys, and when we picked him up in the am, asap...our baby, our Ares was in full kidney failure!they gave him .30ml of fluid!!!they should've given him 1-4ml per lb, per hr...412ml per hr.

We had to say goodbye at his local vet within 2 hrs of pickung him up at the Orange Park ER!! My baby walked in needing critical care and when we seen him in the am he was brought out on a stretcher!!!

The only thing my baby could move was his eyes!! We're SO BEYOND HURT and PISSED...My baby, my Ares would've been 5 this month the 23rd...to young...THEY DID KILL HIM AND I'VE GOT THE PROOF...THE DOCTOR, LAIFER WAS AN INCOMPETENT AND DIDN'T BELIEVE MY HUSBAND AND I WHEN WE TOLD HIM HOW CONNECTED WE WERE WITH OUR ARES...WE WERE HIS PULSE HE OUR SHADOW...AGAIN, I'M SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.

Placed a pet at Blue Peal Sandy Springs. Assigned vet was Dr. Trainor. Not questioning his clinical competency, but bedside demeanor was deplorable. The decision was made to euthanize. I simply asked to hold the pup. He refused in one of the most dismissive and demeaning tones I've ever experienced. I was crying uncontrollably. Not one staff member acknowleged the emotiomal trauma surrounding this situation. I asked could I leave a blanket and without eye contact Dr. Trainor mumbled yes. My advice bring your own emergency survival kit which should include a grief counselor because you will not get it here.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL TO ANY OF THESE LOCATIONS. Our puppy fractured his tibia. We rushed him here to be told well he may not need surgery so they put the poor guys leg in a cast that was $900 we come back in 2 days for a check up and now he needs surgery. They charge us $4000 and tell us we would be getting some money refunded back after the procedure. Of course this never happened nor did they give us any sedatives to calm him down. This place is a rip off. I wish my wife would have gone to the SPCA the price was $3000 less. AVOID BLUE PEARL PET HOSPITAL
